During the harsh Siberian winter, Lake Baikal in Russia, the largest body of fresh water on earth, completely freezes over with up to two feet of ice. During this season hundreds of small boats are stored upside down along its shore. In this photograph, the upended boats present an abstract pattern of pastel colors.
