Volcanic eruption of Bárðarbunga, Vatnajökull National Park, Iceland<br />

At 6591 feet, Bárðarbunga stratovolcano is a second highest point in Iceland. It is located under the icecap of Vatnajökull Glacier. Its last large eruption was in 2014-15 after a swarm of 1600 earthquakes in a 48-hour period.<br />
