Chimbu men in bamboo, Simbu Province, Papua New Guinea
The Chimbu adorn themselves as living skeletons to connect with ancestors. To get a sense of the environment as well as an interesting perspective, I asked these skeleton men to climb into this bamboo grove. I intentionally created a sunburst by using a small aperture and just having a little bit of the sun peek around the thick stem.
