I was fortunately enough to find a nesting pair of hoopoes in an old tree. We waited near the tree for the bird to return to the nest with a worm for its chicks. It was a quick stop to feed, then back out to forage. Of all the animals, this one probably required the most patience. We waited for a good 30-40 minutes for the hoopoe to return a couple times so I could get the shot I wanted.
