Here a group of Camargue horses are captured as they run full out across a salt marsh. It is amazing to me how sure-footed these horses are on such uneven ground, but given their centuries of inhabiting this small Ile de Camargue region, they have obviously adapted to the harsh climate and their close proximity to water.<br />
